We use up-to-date therapeutic techniques to support children and their families to reach their independence and potential in their life. Our therapy approaches are evidence-based and proven to be effective for children with developmental needs and learning difficulties.
Cognitive Oriented Approach
The CO-OP Approach helps children develop problem-solving skills and strategies to perform daily tasks independently. Through guided discovery, children learn to set goals, plan, do, and check their actions, enhancing their cognitive abilities and boosting confidence in their daily activities.
Play-Based Therapy
Play-Based Therapy uses structured play to improve social, cognitive, and physical skills. Through engaging activities, children develop communication, problem-solving abilities, and motor skills, making therapy enjoyable and effective in fostering overall development.
Sensory Integration Programs
Sensory Integration Programs help children process and respond to sensory information more effectively. By using specialised activities, children improve their sensory modulation, coordination, and attention, which enhances their ability to participate in daily activities and reduce sensory overload.
Handwriting Programs
Handwriting Programs (e.g., Handwriting Without Tears®) focus on developing fine motor skills and improving handwriting legibility. Through multisensory techniques and repetitive practice, children enhance their hand strength, coordination, and writing skills, leading to better academic performance and increased confidence.
Feeding Therapy
Feeding Therapy (e.g., SOS Feeding Program) addresses challenges with motor coordination (between the lips, tongue, and jaw). Our OTs can also help children with oral sensory issues, such as textures, temperature, smells, joint compression on teeth, touch and feel outside and inside the mouth.
Social Skill Programs
Social Skill Programs (e.g., LEGO®-Based Therapy, Secret Agent Society) teach children essential social interaction skills through structured activities and role-playing. Children learn to communicate, collaborate, and understand social cues, which enhances their ability to form relationships and interact positively with peers.
